Columbia Grits Past Penn To Win 21-17

A day of gut wrenching rugby ends in a win for Columbia women.

CUWRFC left the pitch victorious after 80 minutes of play on Sunday. Penn proved to be a tough opponent, playing quickly and aggressively in the rucks and making several impressive runs. The score went back and forth throughout the game, but a last minute try by Naomi Sharp CC'15 left Columbia with the win.

Columbia developed a strong offense, running many successful punches and executing beautiful plays in the back line. Two trys and three conversions by flyhalf Isadora Cerullo CC'13 secured the vistory for CUWRFC.
