Dartmouth Victorious Over Penn State

Saturday, April 9, 2016

Big Green pulled out the big win, defeating Penn State 30-25 in the first round of the Varsity Cup. As reported by Goff Rugby Report, Dartmouth’s powerful offensive line kept Penn State off balance and frustrated as penalties took their toll. Trailing at halftime, Penn State stayed in it but was never able to catch Big Green, who was able to capitalize on every scoring opportunity.

As stated by Goff, “Led by the tight five of Will McNamara, Chris Banks, Jack Braun, Arthur Sants and Struan Coleman, three of whom scored tries, Dartmouth moves on to the second round of the Varsity Cup, and Penn State is left wondering what happened.”
