Ivy Men Enter Final Weeks of Season

Cornell v Columbia

With only two teams playing this past weekend, not much has changed in the Ivy men's standings. Dartmouth has remained unbeatable this season, but things could get shaken up this weekend if Penn can take down the Big Green and allow Brown (if they win their game against Princeton) to move into first place. The prospects remain speculative no doubt.

But while the top two spots seem to be solidified in the standings, it will be a tough fight for third. Harvard (4 & 2) has one more game to add points to their total to end up anywhere from 14-19 points on the season. Princeton (2 & 2), with two games remaining, controls their own destiny as they can jump from 10 points up to 20 points with 2 wins (over Cornell and Brown) provided they can secure the much needed bonus points.

Penn (3 & 2) and Yale (1 & 5) each have 2 games remaining with the potential for another 10 points each.  Penn will need to make it through Dartmouth first then Columbia. Yale will also face Columbia but end with Ivy rival Harvard. Penn can potentially finish with 17 points and Yale with as many as 16 points.

Columbia desperately needs a couple wins to get into double digits on the points table with total possibility of 12 points to be had.
