Ivy Rugby Conference Results Round Two

The Ivy League opened up action this weekend with two games in two days. Sunday all eight teams played their second round of matches. After just the second day of competition only Dartmouth and Yale remain undefeated.

Dartmouth 52, Princeton 3

Princeton, NJ -  Led by Chris Downer’s two tries, Dartmouth posted a 52-3 win over Princeton in Sunday’s second round road match. Added to Saturday’s 78-7 win over the University of Pennsylvania, the Big Green scored a total of 130 points over the weekend while allowing only 10. Read More »

Yale 21, Columbia 10

Baker Field,  New York, NY -  In its second victory of the weekend, Yale went into halftime with a 14-10 lead over host Columbia and then added a converted try to post a 21-10 win. Read More »

Penn 40, Brown 24

Philadelphia, Pa. - The University of Pennsylvania came back from Saturday’s 78-7 thrashing at the hands of defending Ivy Champion Dartmouth to defeat Brown 40-24. Read More »

Harvard 51, Cornell 10

Ithaca, NY - Led by two tries apiece from Rossi and Overall, Harvard bounced back from Saturday’s 19-9, first round loss to Columbia by beating Cornell 51-10 on Sunday. Read More »
