Yale Women's Rugby * Yale University Men's Rugby Football Club

Established in 1875, Yale Rugby has a
rich and storied tradition.
Throughout all of the ups and downs, Yale has
historically been considered one of the top teams
on the East Coast, with their last trip to Nationals
coming in 1999. Notable alumni include President
George W. Bush '68, as well as countless more
Men of Eli who have gone on to noble and distinguished
pursuits.
Yale Rugby has also enjoyed a great deal of success
in the short-term. This season they ran the table
on their D-2 competition before winning the New
England Championship and coming up one game short
of a berth to Nationals at the Northeast finals.
Due to this success, this coming fall, Yale will
be moving back up to Division-I to take on traditional
Ivy League rivals Harvard, Dartmouth and Brown
in addition to rising powerhouse Army and others.
Continuing to build on recent success, the future
looks very bright for Yale Rugby.
