Pre Match Writeup

Cornell visits Yale for a fall fifteens match. Note: Due to a late football conflict, the game time/location has been moved from the Yale Rugby Pitch at 11 a.m. to the New Haven Rugby Club at 3 p.m.

The Bulldogs hopes to come back from a blowout loss to Harvard, while Cornell seeks redemption after being shut out last week by Brown.

Yale’s Craig Wilson sees concentrating on developing processes in both attack and defense, regardless of the scoreline, as a major key to this weekend's game.

"It would be easy to look at the Harvard result and be disheartened," Wilson says. "However, through our analysis there was a lot of positives that we can take and build upon for this match. As Yale is in a re-building phase, our main focus is to ensure we progress with every game. The Cornell match is also another great opportunity to allow our new players to experience more match-time that will aid the development of the wider program."
