Dartmouth Continues to Win - 23-5 over Princeton

Saturday, October 10, 2015

@DartmouthWRugby moves to 3-0 after defeating Princeton 23-5. Dartmouth remains in first place in league play as the only undefeated team remaining in the Ivy Rugby Conference.

Dartmouth played much of the offensive in the first half and the Tigers were forced to adjust to their offensive game. Despite runs towards the try line, particularly those of Philomina Kane, Jessica Lu and Gabby Gibbons, only once did Princeton manage to get the ball down. Dartmouth used weight, strength and speed to their advantage.

The Princeton women met Dartmouth at the beautiful Corey Ford Field House in Hanover, NH. The Big Green played host to Princeton at 10 a.m. as part of Homecoming festivities.

Homecoming Honor

It is homecoming weekend at Dartmouth, and our captain [Tatjana Toeldte] will be addressing the entire student body tonight as a representative of Dartmouth Athletics. As a new varsity program we are receiving very enthusiastic support and recognition from the College, for which we are so grateful. We are also focused on the task at hand and making the school proud tomorrow.
