Cornell Rugby Alumni Weekend v3.0

Cornell Faded Red Alumni Weekend

It's that time of year again! The time of year when we book our plane tickets, pack our bags and boots, and come together in sunny Ithaca to form the always formidable Faded Red Rugby Alumni Z-side. For those brave enough to tackle Cornell Rugby Alumni Weekend v3.0 we've got plenty of good times in store.

The festivities start on Friday, September 16 with an evening visit to rugby practice where you'll be invited to stretch your aging hammies and share a few insights on the game. Then we'll embark on a self-guided tour of Collegetown. (No further description necessary!)

With some of the rust worn off from an evening on the town, Faded Red will then host a series of alumni matches, starting at 1pm on Saturday, September 17. In these matches, Z-side squads will take on the current Cornell A and B-sides. The games will be followed by an alumni lunch at the field, and an alumni-student dinner in the evening. Whether you join us on the pitch or not, we hope to see rugby alumni from all classes attend!

As always, this will be your best chance in 2011 to meet the current team, re-visit Ithaca, and continue building the Cornell Rugby tradition. We look forwward to seeing you on the weekend of September 16/17.
