However, Princeton came back in the second half, scoring two unconverted tries to defeat the Bears. ET Gallant made a nice break and offloaded to Richard Lee for the first Princeton try at the start the second half. Conversion attempt by JP Jabre unsuccessful. 5 all. Dartmouth Takes 2nd Game of the Weekend Against Penn 57-5

Coming out for the second part of a weekend doubleheader in Hanover, Dartmouth Rugby could have been set-up for a letdown Sunday afternoon against Penn. While they didn’t start as well as they did in the previous day’s match versus Princeton, the team eventually got things rolling and cruised to a 57-5 win over the Quakers.

1st XV Brown Holds On to Defeat Princeton

Brown played well to score three first half tries against a physical Princeton side, but were unlucky not to put over another two tries when the Bears misfired close to the goal line. As was the case the day before against Penn, a strong wind was a big factor. Brown shut out Princeton with the wind, but the 19 point cushion was tested when the second half ensued.

Harvard Women 2nd XV 15 - Brown 7

The Brown B's got their first official Ivy match under their belts playing a Harvard side that included a number of players from Harvard's first side. Browns defense was inspiring as the 'rookies' flew around the field bringing down one Harvard jersey after another. The Harvard fullback escaped a few too many times but the young Brown team showed moments of great teamwork.

Harvard Men 72 - Cornell 8

The HRFC’s offense came to life against Cornell this weekend. Prop Joe Glynias started the scoring deluge off for Harvard with his first A-side try, which he scored off of a pick and go. This unconverted score gave the HRFC an early 5-0 lead. However, Cornell responded quickly by kicking a penalty to cut Harvard’s lead to 5-3.
