All-Ivy and Academic All-Ivy Selection Criteria

All-Ivy Selection Criteria

All-Ivy honors are selected each fall after the league season by a vote of the 8 coaches of the Ivy League. First, Second and Honorable Mention Selections are announced soon after the end of the season.

Academic All-Ivy Selection Criteria

Academic All-Ivy honors are chosen after the Ivy League rugby season in the fall. The 16 men -- 2 from each Ivy League institution -- are 1st XV or key reserve players from the eight officially recognized Ivy League rugby teams with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages. Each institution nominates two men from its eligible student-athletes. Selections are announced soon after the end of the season.
