Ivy League -- via Skorton group -- adopts rules to cut football concussions
The Ivy League presidents have accepted a series of recommendations made by a special ad hoc committee -- co-chaired by Cornell President David J. Skorton, a medical doctor -- with the goal of lowering the incidence of concussion and subconcussive hits in football.

After a few weeks for the ‘13s to settle into their sophomore summer term, Dartmouth Rugby’s Summer 7s side took the field for the first time in the Men’s Open Division of the New Haven 7s Tournament in Cheshire, Connecticut, on July 16th. While the team was not able to win the whole thing, they did walk away with the plate championship, and, more importantly, all 15 players were able to get some well-earned playing time to help develop their skills for the 2011-2012 Ivy Rugby season.

Baldwin, NY - Rugby H2H will kick off its "Collegiate 7s Rugby H2H" tournament on June 24th. All 16 collegiate participants in the CRC 7s in Philadelphia will compete head to head using best of breed highlight videos that rely on fan voting to determine the winner.
The tournament is available at www.rugbyh2h.com. The first round matchups are listed below.

Cornell 2nd XV scored and converted first then held on as Penn's late try was unconverted. Cornell wins the 2nd XV contest 7-5.
Penn defeats Yale in Penn Park
Comments are from Billy Barron Penn's Flyhalf who played one heck of a match Sunday and Nick Finger, Yale's Captain, who also played quite well. Penn was the better on this day winning 27-12.
