Dartmouth Men Head to Collegiate Rugby Championship

The Dartmouth College men’s rugby team travels to Philadelphia this weekend for the Collegiate Rugby Championship at PPL Park.

The Dartmouth Rugby Club has been a dynamic presence in the CRC since the tournament's initiation in 2010. Back to back champions in 2011 and 2012, Dartmouth displayed poise and serious grit as they pulled out a last second victory over Arizona to advance to the elimination round in 2013. After a disappointing last minute loss to UCLA in the quarterfinals, the Dartmouth sevens squad is looking to make another championships run in 2014.

Penn Rugby Player featured on SEPTA Train Advertisement for CRC

Commuters traveling on SEPTA regional rail in the Philadelphia metro area are being treated to the face of Penn rugger Andrew “Jaws” Weis on an advertisement for the upcoming Collegiate Rugby Championships at PPL Park in Chester, Pa.

Harvard Men at Penn Men

Harvard visits Penn to wrap up the fall 15s regular season.

UPDATE 10/27/14:

As decreed by the committee regarding scheduled Ivy League games on 11/1, and in light of the USA vs All Blacks game, that teams are able to plan accordingly, Head Coaches David Gonzales (Harvard) and Omar Foda (Penn) have decided to agree on a mutually acceptable tie in lieu of playing this fixture and the unavailability of any other suitable dates, times and locations.

Cornell wins at home.

Yale visits Cornell this Saturday for the last 15s match of the fall season. A win for Cornell will cement the Big Red firmly into second place in the league. The match kicks off at 11:00am.

There finish, regardless of the last result has been quite a feat after a shaky start. Yale is looking to finish strong after their incredible 48-12 thumping of then second place Columbia.

Columbia travels to Penn and earns the 26-7 victory. Two CU tries for Hank "The Chin" Cordova.
