Saturday, September 25, 2010

Princeton, NJ -  Led by the 19 points of Sam Rabb (T, 2P, 4C) and two tries from James McGinn, Brown fought its way to a 17-12 halftime lead over host Princeton, and then pulled away to record a 39-19 win.

Brown went out to a 10-0 first half lead on a penalty kick by Sam Rabb and a try by James McGinn that Rabb converted.
A Princeton try brought the score to 10-5, but Sam Rabb’s try and conversion extended Brown’s lead to 17-5.

Showing no quit, Princeton reduced Brown’s halftime lead to 17-12 with a converted try.

Second Half
James McGinn’s second try extended Brown’s lead to 22-12 but another converted Princeton try reduced Brown’s margin to just three points, 22-19.

But that would signal the end of the Princeton’s scoring, while Brown would add tries by Peak and James McGinn (his third). Sam Rabb converted both tries and added a penalty goal, bringing the final score to Brown 39, Princeton 19.
