Where Olympic Journeys Begin

Twenty-four men’s and 11 women’s teams competed over the two-day event in College Station, Texas.  The tag line for the event “Where Olympic Journeys Begin” rang true as the talent on display was outstanding, with many of the athletes the perfect age to peak in 2016 when rugby sevens makes its debut in the Olympics.

Ric Suggit (USA Women’s Eagle Sevens head coach), Al Caravelli (USA Men’s Eagle Sevens Head Coach), and Alexander Magleby (Men’s Collegiate All-American Sevens head coach / Dartmouth College Men's head coach) were on hand to survey the talent and evaluate which athletes will receive invites to national team camps in the future.

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who were selected to the All-Tournament team for their outstanding performance in the competition.
